Overview

PepsiCo is now hiring a Global Procurement Senior Buyer to join our team in Cork on a specified purpose contract.

We are the concentrate business in PepsiCo (PGCS) working across the Beverage, Nutrition and Snacks categories to deliver concentrate for many of PepsiCo’s mega brands including Gatorade, 7Up and Pepsi. We are at the heart of PepsiCo products consumed everywhere in the world, spanning globally sourcing ingredients to manufacturing and distributing across the globe PGCS is a multi-functional business unit offering careers in various functions from Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement, Quality, Finance, Tax, Customs & Trade, R&D, HR and IT. Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-category data management by maintaining global spend dashboards.
  • Support ad hoc data requests from category leads.
  • Support the governance of contract management system and governance of purchasing, bidding and payment procedures.
  • Initiate, develop and implement best practices and standardize processes for all teams globally with the use of Change Management applications.
  • Champion and drive business simplification through reports using technology to provide knowledge transfer.
  • Partnering with Finance to support monthly, quarterly and yearly pricing cycles.
  • Master pricing file management, year - end pricing uploads.
  • Development of process documentation and document management.
  • Identify process efficiencies and work with buyers and other functional stakeholders to implement change.
  • Support the completion of GCS controls within PGCS.

Qualifications

Essential Skills:

  • A 3rd level Qualification (e.g. Scientific/BIS/Finance/IT);
  • Experience in manipulating and analyzing complex data from varying sources.
  • Ability to automate data capture and manipulation.
  • Strong analytical skills, high attention to detail with proven experience of collecting data, analysing and disseminate information in formats that are meaningful to end user.
  • Ability to distil complex data into succinct messages using appropriate reporting formats.
  • Experience of managing processes and using data to drive processes and outcomes.
  • Self-starter & self-motivated. Proven ability to execute and deliver to meet strict deadlines & business commitments.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) & display an ability to work with and communicate with individuals across a variety of functions and levels.
  • Experience in large, global matrix organisation
  • SAP and BI experience a benefit.
  • Tableau experience a benefit.
  • Minimum of 2 years in experience manipulating data sets and building statistical models.

  • Process mapping, continuous improvement mindset.
  • Ability to contribute to the digitalisation of procurement function.
